If you would like to understand the nature of what constitutes flavor, there is a class for that! Do you want to learn how to taste them and learn the various differences between expressions? The Spirits Tasting Class will guide you! Classes are taught by industry trade professionals with Ambassador certifications in Scotch Whisky and Gin, including Executive Certifications in Bourbon and Tequila as well. Youā€™ll learn how to describe a spirit’s flavor profile, how to find the right expression for your palate and how to taste multiple expressions while exploring their differences.

Learning how various styles of barrel aging can influence visuals, aroma and taste. In essence, it takes a lot of focus to be able to spot those earthy aromas, break down flavor profiles, and distinguish the overall attributes that constitutes flavor in each expression. IncludingĀ entertaining stories that lie behind each company’s brand and individual expression.

Learning the various flavors in Scotch whisky is like composing music; not only must you notice the newfound musical qualities of every instrument, but also you must know how they elegantly intertwine together.

Approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours.

Depending on the month of our classes, the spirits we veer from can change regularly. We try to keep our classes fresh by offering different and unique tasting throughout the calendar year. Please check each lesson's scheduled date for more information.

Absolutely, we can do a deep dive into one or two specific spirits. Breaking down what constitutes flavor properties amongst the selected expressions. We recommend for this either Whisk(e)y, Rum, Brandy or Gin.Ā 

Of course, we can do classes based on expressions from a specific region or various and see how they compare and differ. (Private Events Only)

Events already scheduled at our location range from only $42 to $99pp. Pricing varies per event on spirits being tasted. For remote and custom events please contact for pricing.Ā 

A presentation and tasting of a minimum of 3 to 5 spirits. Can be from different vintages, styles, ages and blends.
